My New Year's resolutions

So, I have been thinking about my new year's resolutions. It is important to think about your goals and your dreams here--I mean, what is the point of listing things that you aren't really going to commit to here? In thinking about it, I am going to just list a few things, and really do my best to accomplish them.

  1. Be thankful every single day for my precious family and friends, those people that I enjoy and love and think about every day. I am especially blessed with new little ones, and I will appreciate every minute that I am able to spend with them. I will also be thankful for every picture I receive of them as they grow.

  2. I will quit worrying about my weight, and enjoy life.

  3. I will eat out less and cook more. This is something that I started already, about 6 months ago, and I have re-discovered the joy of cooking, even for 1!

  4. I will try to stay in shape for the activities I enjoy--hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, camping.

  5. I will take a Spanish class and an exercise class.

  6. I will make at least one new friend in Denver.

  7. I will take at least one overnight camping trip, even if I have to go alone.

  8. I will pay off my credit cards totally and quit using them altogether.

So, I think that is it. Now for the hard part--accomplishing them!

Happy 2010 to all of you!

That's a cute resolution picture for sure. I love how you say you are going to stop worrying about your weight...but yet you have included exercise in your other goals three times. I guess exercise isn't all about our weight right...it's about the feeling we get when those endorphines get released. My fav resolution is #1 though!

OK, I going to copy some of your resolutions. thanks for the work. I, however, do need to worry about my weight more. Also, I need the new friend to be in Casper. HUgs!

DMzT I am indeed glad to see you have finally decided to get your act together. However, I highly doubt that your act is not currently perfectly aligned. LOL. Of the eight listed (all being important), I like #8. I cannot begin to tell you how good is feels, when you see statistics listing credit card debt in the 10s of thousands of dollars and you have virtually none! And the house is paid for! YEA Take care my friend!
