A New Baby!

So, my new little grandson or granddaughter is growing in mommy's belly--s/he is about the size of an apple in there! My daughter-in-law looks so cute with my grandchild in there! Babies, they are such miracles. The baby's legs are now growing longer than her arms, and her lungs are starting to develop. I am so anxious to meet the little one, and so thankful for the uneventfulness (so far) of the pregnancy,
I spent Mothers Day with the Marvelous Macy and Little ER. Little ER is so precious, sleeping in my arms. When he is awake, he is almost always happy, and smiles the minute you speak to him. He can get around quite nicely in his walker--he can back up and go forward, and he even makes the noise of a motor (I don't know where he learned this, the boy must be intuitively smart) when he is gearing up to move forward. And he just grins when he catches someone's attention--he is very proud of himself!
The Marvelous Macy is fun, and she and I went spider sniffing. We got up in the dark of the night, put on our jackets over our pj's, got our flashlights, and headed out to the deep, dark forest. Unfortunately, 5 is just a bit too young for spider sniffing--before we got out to the dark area where the spiders lurk, we got scared and decided to wait until next summer to go spider sniffing.
The whole family went to the Drillers game on Sunday, and had a blast. Macy Moo even caught a foul ball! Well, the man behind us actually caught it, but Macy looked at him so wistfully that he gave it up. Her daddy made her a megaphone out of a cup, too, and she cheered enthusiastically, and even though she doesn't know beans about baseball she made sure we cheered too. Her favorite thing was that the Drillers wore pink uniforms in honor of Mother's Day, so of course, we yelled for the pink team!
